NY Times Appalled At Illinois

Agitates to raise taxes with the failed Dem gubernatorial primary candidate and state Comptroller Dan Hynes plus the usual big (bankrupt) government suspects.

Leftists running out of other people's money.

(And their own. Is the NY Times bankrupt yet?)

And the horror:
Sounding as if she had been punched in the stomach, Ms. Johnson, 53, the pharmacist in Beardstown, said she was going to work at Wal-Mart.
Hmm, Rivals fizz over Wal-Mart pop prices in Chicago.

At least Wal-Mart knows how to cut costs. And deal with the ruinous unions. Though it looks like they also cut a deal here.

That said, we'd still probably be better off turning over the state to them.

P.S. Latest on the Blago trial here.

Chicago approves tough new handgun restrictions

No problem, people are stabbing each other these days.
