"Every Year is Worse..."

Good morning. I had problems with blogger yesterday, so did not post most of the rest of the day. In case you missed it, a very encouraging and illuminating post from Captain's Quarters, which quotes from captured Al Qaeda documents, with good analysis. The AQ author admits the only campaign that is working is "noisy operations" in the streets to cow the Western media and convince them that the war is unwinnable.

And Al Qaeda thinks we have a strategy, and it is working:
At the same time, the Americans and the Government were able to absorb our painful blows, sustain them, compensate their losses with new replacements, and follow strategic plans which allowed them in the past few years to take control of Baghdad as well as other areas one after the other. That is why every year is worse than the previous year as far as the Mujahidin’s control and influence over Baghdad.
And we find they have barely 100 fighters left.

Every year is worse for them. Iraq is not a quagmire, it is on the road to success.
