President Bush has made some good appointments in this next phase of his administration---Chief of Staff Josh Bolten, Press Secretary Tony Snow, Fed Chief Ben Bernanke and new Treasury Secretary Henry Paulson, and had some good news on Karl Rove and Iraq, improving the outlook for the fall elections.
As we know in Illinois, the Dems "culture of corruption" charge can't exclusively be pinned on Republicans, ringing very hollow. And unlike the Dems, Republicans usually toss out their own lawbreakers.
