Lake Forest Chapel in Jeopardy

Another beautiful historic chapel is in jeopardy of destruction in Lake Forest. (In Wilmette, after promising voters, who paid $25 million for the property, to try to preserve the chapel at Mallinckrodt, it did not survive the final condo-conversion plan.) A meeting tonight of the Lake Forest City Council, is one of the last opportunities for the public to chime in for the historical and ecclesiological preservation of the Chapel of the Convent of the Sacred Heart.
