Cook County Shenanigans

Sun Times metro briefs:
A federal judge ruled Wednesday that lawyers suing Cook County government for alleged patronage hiring can begin demanding information from county officials about alleged clout hiring. The judge also gave county officials until October to respond to allegations from attorney Michael Shakman that the county is violating the consent decree named for him, which forbids political hiring.
And in other Cook County news. Sun Times:
A Web site that compares Democratic Ald. Todd Stroger to the nerdy TV character "Urkel" and calls him "Toddler," among other insults, is drawing fire from black leaders who say it's racist and secretly being run by Republican operatives.
Peraica's spokesman stated the site was "unnecessarily juvenile" and "we don't endorse people making fun of Todd Stroger" and pointed out that other black leaders had also labeled Stroger as unqualified. Here is Tony Peraica's official site.

Just for the record, this is the first I've heard of this other site, set up by a group called Democrats for Peraica. For a little unnecessarily juvenile humor, here's the site.
