Jury Selected in Terror Trial

So it begins, already controversial, in the trial of terrorists in Chicago. AP:
A jury was chosen Monday for the federal trial of two men accused of supplying money and recruits to the Palestinian terrorist organization Hamas.

Opening statements were set for 9:30 a.m. Thursday at the trial of suburban Chicago grocer Muhammad Salah, 53, and former university professor Abdelhaleem Ashqar, 48, of Alexandria, Va.

U.S. District Judge Amy J. St. Eve overruled objections from federal prosecutors that defense attorneys had acted to keep whites from serving on the jury.
