Doing the Most Good

The Salvation Army has a long and respected tradition of helping the needy who most need help. After Katrina they were the first private group on the spot, bringing food and water as close as they could.

When you're out Christmas shopping, or perhaps at your grocery store, look for the Red Kettle and donate. Or you can make a contribution online. Here's Frederick Wilburn ringing the bell at Wilmette's Treasure Island.

The Salvation Army---doing the most good.
