Rich Miller, Capitol Fax, points out this dubious move by Sen. Barack Obama to associate himself with a troubled city and a mayor who's under suspicion of ordering his police dept. to destroy evidence---make a gun disappear. The lawyer representing the mayor is the same lawyer representing recently arrested Alderman Arenda Troutman.
Is Obama ready for primetime? Does he even know what's going on in Illinois? I guess he's too busy jetting around to do his homework.
John at Marathon Pundit also recently noted a dubious connection by Obama downstate.
And of course Obama's buddy Rezko is in the news again today. Maybe Obama will have to buy the property next door to his mansion back from Rezko, so the man can post enough bail.
Unbelievable.
