Gore's Racket

Al Gore---what a phony!!! He writes a book, makes a movie, wins an Oscar. We have had to listen to this blowhard for years, all the while he is making money off his global warming hysteria.

We just learned that his mansion is a huge energy hog, but of course he maintains he has bought carbon offsets to cover it. Well get this---hat tip Taranto's Best of the Web, BillHobbs follows up on where Gore buys his "carbon offsets", Generation Investment Management:

Gore is chairman of the firm and, presumably, draws an income or will make money as its investments prosper. In other words, he "buys" his "carbon offsets" from himself, through a transaction designed to boost his own investments and return a profit to himself. To be blunt, Gore doesn't buy "carbon offsets" through Generation Investment Management - he buys stocks.

The gall of Gore. What a racket.
