The Acceptable Bigotry

Yes, it is offensive. In this PC age you can't insult any group in the schools---except Christians, who are regularly belittled and mocked. It's the acceptable bigotry, indeed it is to be commended. Michelle Malkin, RCP:
According to the paper, two local police detectives took on the role of hostage-taking Christian gunmen.

"Investigators described them as members of a right-wing fundamentalist group called the 'New Crusaders' who don't believe in separation of church and state. The mock gunmen went to the school seeking justice because the daughter of one had been expelled for praying before class." Upset Christian students reported on the drill to their parents.

How many other jihad-whitewashing mock terrorism drills have been conducted using tax dollars? How long before we mimic the British schools, where the Holocaust is being dropped from history lessons to avoid offending Muslim pupils?

Imagine that.

But the day will come when the secularists and bigots who run many of our public schools will look back and perhaps appreciate the tolerance of their Christian pupils and parents.

Let's hope then they might have the courage to teach history honestly, and have more respect for those who sought religious freedom and founded this country. Freedom of religion and freedom itself go hand in hand. And it is more likely that people of faith will successfully build interfaith bridges to real peace, than teachers' union liberals who mock religion and whitewash terrorists.
