(From my friend Jason Bonham)
Mitt Romney will be in Chicago this Thursday. If you are interested let me know, and I can pass the word up for a head count. It's open to everyone, friends, just looking, future volunteers, etc.
Here are the details:
Governor Mitt Romney will be in Chicago on June 14 and you are invited to hear from him personally. Elected officials and other GOP party leaders will join us from 3:30-4:30 pm at the Hilton Hotel, 720 S. Michigan Avenue in the Joliet Room. We will receive an update from a member of the Romney national team and the Governor will give us his personal perspective of the campaign.
This will be an opportunity for GOP precinct captains, precinct committeemen, volunteers, election judges and friends to hear directly from the Governor.
Please feel free to invite other supporters of Governor Romney, or those interested in learning more about him, to the Friends of Romney gathering. Those attending will need to register on arrival.
Also I will be following the campaign around this next weekend in Iowa with some fellow bloggers. So visit www.mymanmitt.com to get the video blogging action. (And for the latest on the campaign. Romney currently leads in the polls in NH and Iowa.)
