Decision Time on Iran

Well, if we can believe them,
Iran has installed 3,000 centrifuges for enriching uranium - enough to begin industrial-scale production of nuclear fuel and build a warhead within a year, the UN's nuclear watchdog reported last night.
It's coming from the UN, probably the most reluctant
entity in the world to make this pronouncement, so it's probably true. It means even Mohamed ElBaradei, who thinks of himself as a brilliant negotiator rather than a truthful nuclear inspector, and has repeatedly given Iran a pass on non-compliance with UN directives, has probably given up on negotiation himself.

Let's see, when did I first start blogging about this? When I first started my blog. The World Shrinks... from confronting Iran. Tribune editorial on the latest news:
Here's the scariest part: The IAEA's knowledge of Iranian nuclear activities is "diminishing," the report noted. Since early 2006, Iran has shut off access to important nuclear facilities, such as the factories where centrifuges are being built.

The Iranians are blinding the world to what they're doing. That's not a sign of good faith.
Decision time on Iran.
