Well, how interesting, I received a postcard in the mail yesterday from my congressperson, Jan Schakowsky. I have never heard from her before. Quite the personal touch, sent to Postal Patron.
What has prompted this lovely card? Perhaps it's because Jan "Tax Cheat" Schakowsky, she of the felonious husband (and recent author lauded by Dem hacks)who essentially stole to fund her campaigns is being beset on all sides--challenged by Republican Michael Younan, a Greenie backed by threatening supporters, and a now Democrat challenger in the primary.
So go see Jan, if you can stand it, at her "Town Hall" Meeting, Sunday, Dec. 2nd, 3:30-5:00 pm, Niles West HS auditorium, 5701 Oakton, Skokie. (Enter through main entrance to high school facing Oakton.)
