McCain by the numbers

Suitably Flip on McCain by the numbers--National Journal's vote compilations:
The National Journal compiles an annual conservative composite score for all sitting Senators, based on their votes on economic policy, social policy, and foreign policy. With the exception of 1994 (when being a conservative was all the rage), McCain's voting record has steadily dwindled from mainstream conservative to decidedly moderate-to-liberal.
And this last year there was no rating as McCain was absent too often on key votes for a score.

As Flip says, a footsoldier in free fall.
