The liberal vs. conservative dynamic measured by the favorability rating of the NY Times vs. that of the President. Rasmussen shows the Times story on the supposed McCain scandal only helped him, as their tracking for the first time showed McCain edging Obama nationally. Still holding despite a surge in possible Dem states. Very fluid obviously, but slowing the Obama tide of inevitability in what is supposed to be a Dem year.
