Fearless Leader Obama

Obama called for "an end to the current corrupt patronage system ... and a fair distribution of services, opportunities and employment."
Is he running for Mayor? Is he talking about Chicago or Cook County, or Illinois? Nah.

UPDATE: He's got bigger plans. Let a Thousand Posters Bloom. Jonathan Last, TWS:
Last summer, an Obama poster began appearing in downtown Chicago, plastered randomly in public spaces. Drawn in mustardy yellows, Obama appeared from the shoulders up, staring straight at viewers, with a sunburst exploding behind his head. Below the image, in large block letters, the poster proclaimed "The Dream." At the time, the artist was identified only as "CRO," but, as the posters spread, CRO was revealed to be Ray Noland, a 35-year-old graphic artist.
Then there's artist Shepard Fairey, who admires Barack's "radical cachet". In case you were wondering. There are also artist "collectives" doing Obama posters. The genre might be called, "Propaganda engineering". (Joined by the Tribune today. Hopefully just the one story.)
