I just returned from the first performance of “Secret Language: A new play addressing race and class in our community” We had two members involved in the creation of this piece by Next Communities.
Alan Borg made thoughtful contributions to the 15 hours of discussions that lead up to its creation, as did Joseph Hunter, who blogs at http://blkandred.blogspot.com/, and is front and center in the cast.
Please try to attend. They need Republicans to diversify the audience. The production is only 35 minutes, the discussion another 30, and it is free. I guarantee it will give you a fresh perspective.
