Denver Drama

Well, I couldn't stomach watching all those Chicago pols trot up to the mike last night in Denver, it was enough I knew I had to watch Michelle.

Read about the Nancy speech. Drudge has it front and center, with the headline from ABC, Pelosi Tells Disappointed Clinton Supporters to Avoid 'Victim Politics'.

Now this is something we conservatives would welcome. Where has this Nancy been? Will she join Hillary in the bar and have a beer with a shot?

But we know they'll revert to type--it's the Dems after all--playing victim is an art. Hillary milked the wronged wife damsel in distress role for years until she had to get tough to try to win. We'll see what she does tonight.

Nancy also got off another good line:

Pelosi, who is building her own legacy as the first female House speaker, waved aside the notion that some women consider Obama's win as yet another example of a younger, less qualified man passing over a more qualified woman. "This wasn't an appointment, this was an election."
You mean we weren't just supposed to crown Hillary or Barack? The media has been telling us it's the Dems' turn this year all year. Keep talking like this Nancy and you might have to find yourself another party. At least tonight in Denver.

And how about Michelle? She did try to convince us she loves her country, biting out the line. The crowd didn't quite know how to react at first. And she said people should keep their promises. Doesn't she give you the feeling--or else!?

Makes you think she'll take Barack to the woodshed if he doesn't behave--maybe she already has.
