We found a cached copy of Acorn's Web site from 1999 on archive.org and it mentioned that State Senator Barack Obama had endorsed Ted Thomas for the Chicago alderman run-off election.

Ted Thomas was also Chicago chairman of the socialist New Party. Read on. The Obama-ACORN thugocracy in action-- the mortgage meltdown we are paying for now. Oh, and yeah--the vote fraud. Steal our tax dollars, steal our votes. Vote Obama--and keep the change you chumps.
