New Ayers Screenplay?

Yes, it's preposterous. Obama campaign guru and New York-Chicago (machine) liberal leftie axis operative David Axelrod is peddling the line that Barack Ayers was ignorant of Bill Ayers' radical, unrepentant terrorist background.

Barack Obama has been a Leftist practically his whole life. His mother was a Leftie, his father a radical socialist at a minimum, his maternal grandfather's best friend was an old Chicago communist come to Hawaii, Frank Marshall Davis, who helped him decide his white grandmother was a racist. He was a leftist at liberal Columbia...I could go on.

Barack Obama came to Hyde Park precisely because it was a Leftist enclave--one of the strongest in the country. His predecessor for his seat in the Illinois Legislature was Alice Palmer, who actually attended a Communist Party convention in the old USSR. Barack Obama was her chosen successor, whom she introduced at a coffee at the home of Bill Ayers and Bernardine Dohrn. And what do you think ACORN is. Get the picture?!!

Now we have news Hollywood is considering yet another tribute to the radical chic left. An Ayers screenplay. Ben Smith commenters at The Politico think Obama may not have known Bill Ayers' past. Another story in The Politico gives us this:
Sen. Obama, who acknowledged he has been "friendly" with Ayers since the mid-1990s and worked with him on various Chicago anti-poverty and education projects, is not mentioned in the screenplay since its storyline doesn't cover the time when they met. Rather, it traces Ayers' and Dohrn's entry into radical politics during the 1960s and ends in 1980 when the couple turned themselves in to authorities. Hancock said he may add a reference to Obama as a coda to his script, due to the recently revived interest in Ayers as a result of the presidential campaign.

A handful of movies have been made about Ayers and the Weather Underground, including a 2002 Oscar-nominated documentary, a 1975 TV movie starring Sissy Spacek, and the 1988 feature film "Running on Empty," which co-starred Judd Hirsch and Christine Lahti as a fugitive couple loosely based on the two antiwar bombers, with the late River Phoenix as their GenX teenage son.
God give me strength.

P.S. Memo to McCain. Level with the American people. Carol Platt Liebau: Do you know the real Barack Obama? And RedState on Chicago replaying the Days of Rage of '68. Over and over again. Plus RNC Ayers files. Yuval Levin on the Ayers' question. Also a rebuttal on the Keating 5.

Finally a reader points out---Isn't the story about Ayers that if your dad's rich enough you can become a member of polite society?
Ayers grew up in Glen Ellyn, a suburb of Chicago, Illinois. He attended public schools there until his second year in high school, when he transferred to Lake Forest Academy, a small prep school.[2] Ayers earned an A.B. from the University of Michigan in American Studies in 1968. (His father, mother and older brother had preceded him there.)[2] He is the son of Thomas G. Ayers, former Chairman and CEO of Commonwealth Edison (1973 to 1980), Chicago philanthropist and the namesake of the Thomas G. Ayers College of Commerce and Industry.[3][
This is part of the screenplay too.
