Rahm in the Hot Seat

More on the Democrat sex scandal in Florida, one of Rahmbo's House recruits. It's not just an issue of electability, but criminality, which extends to Rahm and the Dem House "leadership". Rahm's in the hot seat--and not just Florida's 16th. Washington Post:
Just a week ago, Mahoney looked like a shoo-in for reelection. He led his GOP challenger, Tom Rooney, by about 20 points in polling, and won the endorsement of the Palm Beach Post. But the ABC News story of his alleged extramarital affair broke this week, the newspaper wrote an editorial demanding Mahoney come clean.

House Democratic Caucus Chairman Rahm Emanuel (D-Ill.), who has earned the nickname "Rahmbo" for his rough-and-tumble approach to politics, confronted Mahoney well over a year ago about his rumored bad behavior. Emanuel's office released a statement saying, "Upon hearing a rumor, Congressman Emanuel confronted Congressman Mahoney, told him he was in public life and had a responsibility to act accordingly and appropriately, and urged him to do so. They had no further conversations on this topic."

That confrontation occurred in early 2007, and Emanuel didn't know that that the woman in question was a staffer or that payments (read: hush money) were involved until he was informed by ABC News, according to a source close to the congressman.

Oh really? You didn't know? How curious that you were so incurious (--the hush money was allegedly from campaign funds). But this is not credible. Gateway Pundit blogged about this on Sept. 20th, based on a Palm Beach Post story. One of the tip offs Mahoney was no longer living with his wife was he had changed his address to a horse barn, giving rise to questions about residency requirements among other things.
