Why is Bill Ayers a respectable member of the upper middle class and Sarah Palin contemptible?

To the Left the rest of America are second class citizens. Those who agree with them but aren't of them are patronized--the rest of us are beneath contempt.

But we who don't agree don't accept the premise of the Left. We don't accept that a cowardly terrorist is acceptable company. And they can call us names and call us stupid, call us trash and call us contemptible, but we know what is great and what is good. We keep trying every day, in all humility but all the more determined. Sarah Palin knows who she is, and so do we.
