Where was your friend Rev. Wright?

Do we really want 8 years of Dear Leader lecturing us?

Got back from choir practice. Watched the end of the World Series. Read some stuff. Finally made myself watch Barack's interminable infomercial. Lots of stories. Lots of talk about yourself. But what I want to know Barack, is the rest of the story. Your other formative influences.

Where was your friend the Rev. Jeremiah Wright? Doesn't he have a story to tell? From the looks of this video it looks like he did pretty well:

P.S. The Barackstar on the Daily Show, via the LA Times (notes lack of comedic interest, plus recap):

Asked about his "infomercial" airing on four television networks tonight, Obama called it a "story about what's happening to families all across America. We've got four families that we feature. All of them have great hopes, but all of them are struggling too, and we want to talk about what the next four years would mean to them...

"These four families that have been featured remind me either of myself or people that I know, and I think they'll have a better sense of exactly what I want to do as president.
People that you know, yup. Hey Barack, where was your babysitter Rashid Khalidi?

P.P.S. And how about those friendly terrorist fundraisers for Obama? LGF:

Another big Barack Obama supporter: Hatem El-Hady, former chairman of the Toledo-based Islamic charity Kindhearts, closed by the US government in 2006 for terrorist fundraising: Terrorist Fundraisers for Obama.

El-Hady has now devoted himself to raising money for Barack Obama; he has a page at the official Obama campaign web site, with three “friends” listed on it: “Rick,” “Fatima from Toledo, Ohio,” and ... Michelle Obama.
