AFP, Judicial Watch Testify vs. Blago

UPDATE: Illinois Auditor General William Holland is testifying.***Some witnesses in today's Blago impeachment hearing, from an Illinois AFP bulletin:
Friends,

Please join me on a sad yet historic day tomorrow-- Thursday, Dec. 18-- in watching the Blagojevich Impeachment hearing LIVE online at 10:00am CST. The House Committee has requested the presence of Ron Gidwitz, our very own Chairman of AFP-Illinois, to testify in regards to his previous litigation brought against Gov. Blagojevich.

Also asked to testify is Judicial Watch, an organization that brought litigation against Gov. Blagojevich for violations of the Freedom of Information Act when he failed to respond to information requests from AFP and Judicial Watch.

Please join me in watching AFP-Illinois Chairman Ron Gidwitz at the hearing online tomorrow at 10:00am CST.

After years of serving as the Illinois watchdog, AFP-Illinois will now take a front row seat as Illinoisans demand accountability and transparency in state government. Accountable and transparent government is where good government begins. Your grassroots efforts and citizen activism have helped bring us to this next step toward a better Illinois.
