The Rev. Bobby the Racket Rush

Good Lord. Rep. Bobby Rush is also Rev. Rush. The former militant Black Panther has been through a lot of life changes. His ministry began after his election to Congress, a bit unusual. But his motivation appears to be quite business as usual politically. Emerging as one of Burris and, indirectly, Blago's biggest defenders, Rush has grotesquely played the race card, while hiding a few up his sleeve. Leftie columnist Mark Brown, Sun Times:

During the last three years, two Englewood community organizations founded by Rep. Bobby Rush in his role as church pastor have received more than $2 million in state funding from Gov. Blagojevich's administration.
