You know, this guy helped ram through President Clinton's sneaky 11th hour pardons of Puerto Rican terrorists and tax-dodging, trading with Saddam Hussein, but campaign donor Mark Rich. You might say he was crassly political, even cowardly. Yet he was approved by the Senate as he was President Obama's choice.
Now he is calling us a nation of cowards for not discussing race as much or in the way he would like, which precisely illustrates why Americans don't want to talk about race. For one thing anything we say can be construed as racist--like some truths about cultural problems and the ratholes to opportunity of our public schools, which condemn largely black male children to a bleak future. How about telling the teachers union they are COWARDS and BULLIES, standing in the school house door. For another, we have been talking about race for at least a generation. My kids celebrated black history month in elementary school. They are now in college or beyond.
As Jim Geraghty asks, do you agree with Attorney General Holder, Mr. President? Or are we looking at four to eight years of race-baiting by liberal politicos? Eric in your face Holder.
