O'Hare Hilarity

Most of the heat has been on our governor so far but the fed spotlight is shining on the city's O'Hare deals. Sun Times. John Kass notes the connections:
Shortly after the "Don Wade & Roma" show, Blagojevich's former top fundraiser, Christopher Kelly, an O'Hare contractor, plead not guilty to federal charges that he paid kickbacks for contract work at the airport. When Blago was charged in early December, his top aide, John Harris, who once worked for Daley handling airport deals, was also charged. Harris must be talking. Kelly will crack.

"Now he [Kelly] probably has a lot of things he can say about operations at the airport," Blago told Don and Roma. "And I'm sure that federal prosecutors are interested to see how contracts are issued at O'Hare. And so some of those insights may have more to do with Mayor Daley than they have to do with me."
And how about the wives of these operators, pols or no? Blago has Pottymouth Patti and one of the favored O'Hare contractors, Anthony Cappello, has a wife who scored $1.1 million as a female-owned minority contractor for her firm. The name? The Stealth Group, Inc. How hilarious.
