Healthcare Headline Hits

Obama admits he's not familiar with House (healthcare) bill. Heritage. (too much traffic right now--here's the source audio Heritage references:
During the call, a blogger from Maine said he kept running into an Investors Business Daily article that claimed Section 102 of the House health legislation would outlaw private insurance. He asked: “Is this true? Will people be able to keep their insurance and will insurers be able to write new policies even though H.R. 3200 is passed?” President Obama replied: “You know, I have to say that I am not familiar with the provision you are talking about.” (quote begins at 17:10)
Democrats Want To Teach You To Die With Dignity. RedState. (But then there's the liberal self-assisted suicide march--you should worry too, Dems. David Brooks)

Poll: Public losing trust in President Obama. The Politico.

P.S. Brooks thinks Obama should be scarier, like Machiavelli? And how about this hilarity from the moderate exemplar Brooks (who has been easily scared by The One in the past) Emphasis mine, yeah:

That leaves matters in the hands of the Blue Dog Democrats. These brave moderates are trying to restrain the fiscal explosion. But moderates inherently lack seniority (they are from swing districts). They are usually bought off by leadership at the end of the day.
P.P.S. A speech a day keeps the doctor away. Mr. President, how about getting off the stage, reading the bill--don't stick the states with the bill, and coming up with real solutions. Big government is not the answer.
