Some rally goers are meeting at the Wilmette Metra Station Sunday, Aug 9 to take the 11:54 am train to Northwestern Station to attend the rally. Some of us may have signs, so we will be easy to spot.
In other news,
Schakowsky is holding a town meeting on Aug 31 at Niles West High School 6:30 pm. Some of us (including, we hope, Joel Pollak) will be going to demonstrate against Schakowsky, Obama, excess spending, etc.
You readers may want to know that there may be "recess" protests scheduled Aug. 22 at Congressional offices.
Also, that Durbin refuses to even schedule a "town hall" meeting during the recess. People can call his office to ask for (demand) such a meeting.
