In Harm's Way

Mr. President, we already have troops in harm's way.

Send all the troops Gen. McChrystal asked for.

Half-measures will not win the day--and will cost us lives.

More. We love 'em:

So unfortunate that we have a President who talks like this, who has no concept of what it means to be a war president. The current White House can be ruthless in dealing with its "internal enemies" and completely without fortitude when confronted by our external foes. It's a low point for me. Never thought I'd live to hear such empty palaver from the POTUS. I's say that it feels "craven," but that's too much. It's close, though for the language is laced with equivocation. Heaven help us if and when we need real, immediate leadership.
