I am a conservative woman, whom believes that I too am a member of “mainstream America”. AND I am a former FL voter who supports Marco Rubio’s campaign for U. S. Sen. of FL. I think it is important that we support True Conservative candidates across this county and if there are not Conservatives presently on the ballot we make use of these months to recruit Conservative individuals to run in the 2010 election cycle.
I would like to extend the spot-light to Patrick Hughes a True Conservative in IL who is running for U.S. Senate. I believe Marco’s success hinges on the outcomes of a race like Patrick Hughes for Senate as well as many other contested primaries across the county. We need to let the powers that be sitting in Washington understand that the Republican Party is conservative not moderate. We no longer want to be spoon fed our candidates and allow the primary process to take place in a pure untainted fashion.
For example, the state Republican Party of Florida has done everything in their power to discredit Marco’s run for U.S. Senate and in Patrick’s race- the powers that be hand-picked Hughes’ opponent Mark Kirk. Mark Kirk is far more liberal than that of Charlie Crist- and has the voting record to prove his True Liberal colors. Kirk voted for Cap and Trade and Against the Iraqi Surge, he recently received an F rating from the NRA and an F- from Gun Owners of America, and has been adamantly pro-abortion- he voted against the ban on the hideous practice of partial birth abortion.
It is time that we Conservatives unite together across the country and start a Pure Conservative movement. A movement that the voting people decide in the voting booths to as whom the candidates will be…
We can finally bring real “change” to Washington, D.C. This is the time to make America great again and make political parties, the elected, and the government accountable to the people.
