Boston Tea Party

Drudge header:
Sen. Jim Webb [D]: 'Suspend further votes on health care legislation until Senator-elect Brown is seated'...

It will take a while to digest this one. Fred Barnes for starters. And Victor Davis Hanson, with this key caution to President Obama for the future, on Americans' number one priority:
It is not particularly smart to constantly demonize the entrepreneurial classes, promise to raise income, payroll, health-care, and inheritance taxes on them, and expand government regulations — and then wonder why they are not creating more jobs.
And then there's the issue of terrorism, brought home by the Christmas bomber, reminding Bostonians of the 9/11 flights that originated at Logan airport.

Are you listening Mr. President?

More. Michael Barone, who knows America's voting districts better than anyone:
But a look at the incoming election results in Massachusetts' cities and towns shows the depth and breadth of his support. Brown ran especially far ahead of John McCain's 36 percent in blue-collar areas, and turnout was sharply down in inner-city neighborhoods of Boston and old mill towns. In other words, those who are supposed to be the beneficiaries of the Democrats' health care and "spreading the wealth around" either trended Republican or stayed home.
It's the conservative Tea Party spirit that cuts across party lines. Independent. And fiscally responsible.
