In early 2007, Abdulmutallab was the president of the Islamic Society at the University College of London (UCL). The press has uncovered a number of disturbing aspects of Abdulmutallab's tenure as the head of the society. First and foremost, his organization hosted a "War on Terror Week" that was really a "Blame America" fest. The New York Times has aptly described the Islamic Society's "guest speakers" at this and other events as "radical imams, former Guantanamo Bay prisoners and a cast of mostly left-wing, anti-American British politicians and human rights advocates."From January 29, to February 2, 2007, the Islamic Society hosted "a series of lectures" as part of its "War on Terror Week." One of the lectures, according to the Times (UK), was entitled "Jihad v. Terrorism" and billed as "a lecture on the Islamic position with respect to jihad."
The lecture was given by Asim Qureshi, who is a "senior researcher" at Begg's organization, Cage Prisoners. Qureshi's own words make his real purpose plain to see as he is, at times, an overt jihadist. During one particularly troublesome episode, Qureshi was captured in an online video ranting at a rally hosted by Hizb ut Tahrir, an organization that the BBC has found "promotes racism and anti-Semitic hatred, calls suicide bombers martyrs and urges Muslims to kill Jewish people." Indeed, the video shows Qureshi praising his "brothers and sisters fighting in Chechnya, Iraq, Palestine, Kashmir, [and] Afghanistan." Qureshi tells the crowd: "We know that it is incumbent upon all of us to support the jihad of our brothers and sisters in these countries when they are facing the oppression of the West." Qureshi and the crowd then break into a chant of "Allah Akhbar."
Does Hizb-ut-Tahrir ring a bell? It should. And women should really love this--anything to say Barack?
P.S. Speaking of Islamic Societies, did you know the Islamic Society of North America is headquartered in Chicago? And did you know one of the speakers, not so long ago was an unrepentant domestic terrorist, and FOBarack Obama? No, it wasn't Bill Ayers. But it was his wife. Bernardine Dohrn. At about the same time last August that Obama and Holder were playing whack-a-CIA-agent, Umar Farouk Abdulmutallab traveled to Yemen to learn how to sew explosives into his underwear.And he wants to bring those who are left to Thomson, Illinois. (Another hearing Wed. in Chicago but the decision is up to Gov. Quinn, who didn't show up at the initial one. Another wimpy little shit.)
And speaking of Captain Underpants, the accused Christmas Day bomber has reportedly warned that there are more terrorists like him in Yemen.

Just days before Abdulmutallab tried to blast Northwest Flight 253 out of the the sky over Detroit, Obama released an additional half-dozen Gitmo detainees to Yemen.

I read Obama's first book. Most of the time I just said "huh???" since so much of it really didn't make sense to me.
But after thinking about the book, I realized that Barack Obama is just a poorly parented abandoned child left with his grandparents to be raised. His grandfather was a piece of work. I mean, anyone who would name a girl Stanley has a screw loose somewhere, but taking him to be around "Frank" the commie pedophile for whatever reason shows really poor judgement. I think the only semi-normal person in his young life was Toot.
This is why he's so empty, IMHO. He wants affection, never wants to be at fault for anything, was probably sodomized (by Frank? by Pop?), and never bonded fully with anyone after his mother sent him away.
He never learned to be a man. And for that lack of learning, we are going to pay, bigtime.

Just to clarify, I don't see him as a victim. Abraham Lincoln had a tough early life, but became a good person in spite of this. Obama failed to become a good human being - he only cares for his personal comfort.
I believe he is unfit to lead based on his failure to become a functioning adult and grow a pair, and the public should have been made aware of this before they bought his hopeychangey crap. Of course, being an Ayers and Alinsky acolyte is just more evidence that he should never have gone beyond his little neighborhood activities in Chicago, but now we're stuck with him.
