The survey of 450 small business owners by the National Small Business Association found 64% of small businesses reported a decline in revenue over the past 12 months, the highest level since the NSBA began asking the question in 1993. Adding to the sting from revenue declines was a continued freeze in the credit markets as 39% report they are unable to secure adequate financing for their business.Costly ObamaCare was a big uncertainty. The election of Massachusetts Sen. Scott Brown yesterday as the 41st GOP vote is a shot in the arm for more incremental, workable reform, and may at a minimum stave off more job-killing Dem regulation, such as cap and trade.
