Theft of Copper Downspouts in Wilmette

On Wednesday January 13th, there were two reported thefts of copper gutters and downspouts reported to the Wilmette Police

* At 4:00pm, an offender removed a copper gutter from a commercial building in the 1900 block of Lake Avenue.
* At 4:21pm, an offender removed copper downspouts from a home in the 1600 block of Washington Ave.

A witness observed a white 1990's Ford Pick-Up truck at the scene of one of the thefts.
