Brennan Must Go

What happened to dissent is the finest form of patriotism? That was then, this is now. But beyond that--President Obama's National Security adviser is recklessly partisan. He is a national security adviser. The last few days were bad enough. Now John Brennan says those who raise questions about Mirandizing a terrorist are helping Al Qaeda. (But what about the Obama administration itself, before this latest debacle? Continuing the bizarrely selective transparency.) Victor Davis Hanson:
I wrote my Corner posting on John Brennan, Richard Clarke, et al. and the Obama's Dr. Jekyll/Mr. Hyde attitude about criticizing government anti-terrorism protocols before Brennan's surreal op-ed in today's USA Today.
Look. Most Americans support the war on terror. There are two fronts--we fight overseas in part to protect our American way of life at home. Don't fool around with our fight against terror on the home front. Fire John Brennan. And Eric Holder while you're at it. Get serious on national security Mr. President.

WSJ: Cheney's Revenge. The Obama Administration is vindicating Bush antiterror policy.
