Rep. Conyers' wife declared indigent by court, taxpayers to pay her legal fees

...She is being prosecuted for taking bribes. But she won't ask her husband to pay her legal fees.

John Conyers--only cheap with his own family...because he routinely expects the taxpayers to pick up the tab.

Another prominent example of a person of apparent means being given a public defender is Umar Farouk Abdulmutallab, the man accused of attempting to explode a bomb hidden in his underwear on an airliner descending Christmas Day toward Detroit's Metro Airport. The 21-year-old has wealthy parents back home in Nigeria, but another judge using the same criteria determined he, too, was eligible for court-appointed defenders.

Wonder if they have the same counsel.

You guys in Michigan need to throw the Conyers' out, and recall this judge.
