I hadn't been to a game for ages. The pregame lead-in with
the Hawks lighting up the city is wonderful. It was a crazy game, we led early, but couldn't pull it off. Caught Ovechkin warming up with his helmet off--before he was
ejected from the game for a scary hit.
My camera wasn't good enough and I wasn't fast enough to get a good shot, but here's the scene right after Toews' first goal.
The kid riding the Zamboni on the ice was cute and I always enjoy the little shirts on skates.
Then back outside for some Chicago sunshine.
