Jonah Goldberg joins the Rahmbo speculation.
I always thought our President Barack Obama hired Rahmbo to keep the leftie Congressional Dems in line. But after his never let a crisis go to waste speech I figured he had decided to go whole hog on the leftist agenda, especially when the president early on sided with Nancy Pelosi in cutting out Republicans and any semblance of moderation.
Now Rahm's apparently cutting his losses--he must think this latest health care push is a fiasco (and he's right) and wanted to pivot to jobs.
Well, he may find himself back in the private sector again soon--or perhaps wants to replace the disastrous Alexi Giannoulias as the Dem Senate candidate in Illinois.
Then again, the former Clintonite hid under his desk for ages during the Dem presidential primary race. Maybe Hillary will hire him for her challenge to Barack in 2012.
...maybe he's hiding under his desk now.

Given the generally disastrous approach to everything, I would expect that
-ObamaCare dies just short of passing,
-Emmanuel is thrown under the bus,
-The rest of the Administration crumbles due to lack of adult leadership,
-There are two politically excruciating years where the country is rudderless, until 2012.
It's shows the sorry state of things when I have to say I hope you're right.
