Sen. Scott Brown on WLS 890

Talking to Don and Roma this morning.

...Just caught the last half or so.

Very passionate, very articulate.

--Political chicanery going on right now to circumvent the will of the people (since his election deprived the Dems of the 41st vote--I mean the 60th)

--We can do better, start over with a real bipartisan bill. The Massachusetts plan, they want to keep, not have a federal once size fits all plan. They didn't raise taxes or cut Medicare, they do have some mandates like chiropractic care and in-vitro that are raising costs for everyone which they need to roll back so people have more affordable choice in their plans, but they do have widespread coverage.

--This bill would harm quality health care and have a devastating effect on doctors and nurses.

--Call your congressman or woman, call the speaker.

I'm sure they'll be playing the clips.

In case you missed Sen. Brown on Saturday, here is the video of his response to the president's weekly address.
