Showing more leg?

I don't know. Warmer weather is here, though hit and miss. In my teens, minis were in fashion, in my prime working years, maxis. (Or in hippie realms, granny gowns were the bees knees--painful to think of now, I know)

There are still classics that wear well, like a trench coat--for men and women both. (Some with a twist--ruffles?)

(In the Windy City umbrellas are nearly useless.) It's the spring coat:
With trenches—and longer spring coats in general—she likes to pick styles that end an inch or two above her knees. "You don't want it ending at the knee or below, so all you see is calf," she says. "It's not elongating."
So I guess I'll mostly stick with pants--until summer comes.
