The Republican 10th Congressional District candidate released 1st quarter fundraising totals yesterday. Politico reports the impressive half a million haul for Dold. A small businessman himself, he visited with small business in Arlington Heights recently and met with the Black Chamber of Commerce of Lake County. (Video)
While Seals raised slightly more I wouldn't take it as a harbinger of the race--recall this is his 3rd time running, he should have his donors lined up. And it's hardly a preemptive amount. After all, he can't exactly run on change this year--he's part of the machine establishment that's trashing the country's future.
