Mother Goose Morning...

It's raining, it's pouring. Cold too. Though I see it's not really Mother Goose, but this one is:

One misty moisty morning,
When cloudy was the weather,
I chanced to meet an old man,
Clothed all in leather.
He began to compliment
And I began to grin.
How do you do? And how do you do?
And how do you do again?

...Afternoon Sunny Side of the Street. One of the songs of our spring concerts for seniors, and a favorite of my dad's.

Just out walking, the sun's back and there are lots of folks taking their dogs or babies for an airing before the next storm rolls in. One of his other favorites was Let a Smile be Your Umbrella on a rainy, rainy day. I never knew the rest of it until now. Here's lookin' at you, dad.
