A Servile Status

University of Chicago professor of law Richard Epstein thinks the states may have a case in challenging ObamaCare. WSJ Op-Ed. Here's one precedent:
In New York v. United States (1992), the Court prevented the U.S. from forcing states to take title to nuclear waste. It can surely prevent the federal government from mandating massive expenditures of scarce state resources.
So how about it, Ms. Attorney General Lisa Madigan?

We certainly are in a position of scarce state resources as we've already been making massive expenditures for years right here in Illinois. You might could ask your dad about that.
