He wants us to have FAITH in his HOPE

Ha.

Our open thread at Potluck.

At least the speech was short.

P.S. Here's a good blog covering the Gulf. Portrait of the Gulf

HT And so it goes in Shreveport.

More reaction here. They were talking seriously about nuking the leak on Kudlow tonight. An oil engineering expert was on. One of the reasons Gov. Jindal went ahead and started building berm islands (without waiting for our AWOL president, who seems to have given his tacit approval tonight) besides the obvious ones is the further worry if the slick gets into the Intercoastal Canal--because then you could have massive power plants having to shut down. In the summer. In the South.

P.P.S. At least we don't have this guy running things. There or here.

I think Prof. Jacobson said it best:

Obama's Gulf Speech In One Sentence:

"I don't know where I'm going, but follow me anyway."
