Blago and Patti Spent More on Clothes than Mortgage

Clout St:
Schindler reviewed the financial records of Blagojevich during his time as governor and said he and his wife spent more than $400,000 on clothes during that time frame, more than they spent on the mortgage for his North Side home.

Blagojevich dropped $205,706 alone with Oxxford, a tailor with a reputation for sewing high-end custom suits. On one day alone in December 2006, Blagojevich charged $20,000 with the suit maker, his credit card records showed.

In another month, Blagojevich charged $12,000 in clothes and $81 in toys.
What a great babysitter dad. More from CBS2:
Jurors heard another tape Thursday afternoon of Blagojevich railing against Obama in a profanity-laced tirade. Also on the call are his wife, Patti, his lawyer Bill Quinlan and adviser Bill Knapp.

Listen to the tape and read the transcript of the call. WARNING: contains profanity.

"You guys are telling me... Give this mother f***er his senator. F*** him. For nothing? F*** him!" Blagojevich says angrily. "This mother f***er state senator, f*** him. F*** him." Before he was elected U.S. Senator in 2004 and then President in 2008, Obama was an Illinois state senator.

Quinlan and Knapp advise Blagojevich not to appoint himself to the Senate seat, or he'll become a "national joke."

The tapes also reveal Blagojevich's urgent concern about his family finances.

"I have a personal problem. I feel like I'm f***ing my children," Blagojeich says. "I can't afford college for my daughter."
Seriously. I hope these kids turn out OK.

But how much did he pay for his jogging suits?
