My media news

New media panel tonight at 7, Evanston Library, sponsored by the Evanston GOP:
NPR and Juan Williams? The New York Times and Jason Blair? Fox News and Bill O'Reilly? These days those who report on the news are making it into the news. Is this the way of modern journalism or are there new developments that help us discern fact from fiction, report from reporter?

On Thursday, November 18, 2010, a panel of journalism experts will discuss “The New Media: Fact, Fiction or Opinion” at the Evanston Public Library at 7:00 p.m. The panelists include Jack Doppelt , Professor at Northwestern University's Medill School of Journalism, Anne Leary, nationally recognized founder of the weblog TheBackyardConservative.blogspot.com and Richard Baehr, founder of The American Thinker.
This event is free and open to the public. Metered parking available.
