Books Kids Will Want to Read
My friend Pundette at Right Network.
Anne of Green Gables has always been a kindred spirit:)
Some of these choices I read for the first time as an adult, looking for books for my own growing children.
I would add a personal favorite are the Mrs. Piggle-Wiggle books, more appropriate for parents reading aloud, curled up with their younger ones:)

I agree, Miss Piggle-Wiggle books are great books. I love reading them to my kids. Another great book that my kids love... one that I just stumbled across the other day, is a book titled, "The Thanksgiving Coat: Illustrated by Kailee" written by Elizabeth A. Hoadley. The book has beautiful illustrations (it blew me away to find out that the illustrator was a 5-year old little girl), and the story plot has a great message- to have compassion toward those who are homeless or hungry, and teaches children the importance of sharing.
Thanks Becky!
I do love children's books. Even though mine are grown I have them handy and love to learn of new special ones.
