Count me among those who consider those who protest the inclusion of our former Congressman and Secretary of Defense Donald Rumsfeld as a distinguished New Trier alum as myopic and graceless and intolerant.
There may be things that disgrace NTHS but Sec. Rumsfeld is not one of them.
Would it have been compassionate to ignore 9/11?
But then there are grads who have learned nothing from the recent lessons of history.
