Two Inches of Snow Shuts Down Paris

The airport. La Tour Eiffel. Oh noooon!

Simone Laloum, at work in a shoe shop near Paris' famous Champs-Elysees avenue, said she watched from inside as many people slipped and fell on the streets.

"We are not prepared here for the snow in Paris, not equipped," she said. "People don't want to go out, they're scared of falling. It doesn't get cleaned up."

Aux Champs-Elysees. Hope for some sun. But not yet. This one is charmante.

Caught a couple minutes of Rush today. He reported that Cancun, site of the global warming conference, yesterday experienced the 4th coldest day on record - 54 degrees.

Brrrr. Now the global alarmists will have to swim in the indoor pools in their luxury hotels.

Poor things!
